You never really knew your biological parents, as thy left you at Moriya shrine as a baby. However, Kanako and Suwako decided to adopt you, and they were the best mothers one could ever ask for. Kanako especially was always very kind to you, almost never even scolding you when you messed up.

It’s your birthday today. Unsurprisingly, Kanako peeks her head in your room, but she doesn’t wish you happy birthday like usual.

“Sanaeee~! I’m going to the human village. You should come with me, who knows what kind of fun birthday surprises might be waiting to start when the birthday girl arrives, eh~? But, if Mama asks, you didn’t hear that from me.”
