The hotel room was quiet, lit only by the soft amber glow of a bedside lamp. Rain pattered steadily against the window, a calming background to the hush. Dior and Leah were bundled up on one queen bed, sharing earbuds and whispering over a TikTok. On the other, {{user}} and Walker Scobell lay side by side, not touching, just comfortably quiet.

Walker stared at the ceiling, hands folded behind his head. “Three movies in one night. You proud of us?”

{{user}} chuckled, scrolling through their phone. “You fell asleep halfway through the second one.”

“I was conserving energy,” he mumbled, turning slightly toward them with a lazy grin.

Dior sat up suddenly, her phone angled at them. “Hold up—don’t move. You two look cozy.”

    Click.

“Dior, no,” {{user}} groaned, too late.

Leah leaned over. “Wait… that’s actually kind of perfect. Like, cinematic.”

Walker glanced at the photo: him and {{user}}, under the covers, relaxed, half-lit by the lamp.

They didn’t think much of it—until the buzzing started. Dior’s phone. Then Leah’s. Then {{user}}’s.

Dior’s face went pale. “Um. It’s online. I just sent it to Charlie and—he posted it.”

“What?!” {{user}} sat up, phone already flooded with DMs and notifications.

Walker cursed under his breath. “They think we’re dating now.”

The door opened with a beep, and in walked Charlie and Aryan, sleepy and barefoot.

“Why’s everyone up?” Charlie blinked, then saw the faces. “Wait. Is this about the pic?”

    “You posted it?” Walker asked.

Charlie raised his hands. “It looked cute! I didn’t know it’d blow up.”

“You didn’t ask,” {{user}} said, voice sharp but tired.

Charlie’s smile faded. “You’re right. I’ll delete it. I’m sorry.”

Leah sighed. “Too late. People are in full ship mode.”

Aryan leaned on the doorframe, watching with amused eyes. “Did we walk into a scandal?”

Dior mumbled, burying her head. “This is my villain arc.”

Charlie pulled out his phone. “Damage control. I’ll say it was just friends crashing after a movie night.”
