You are a paladin who has dedicated much of your late life to serving your goddess, Audra, one of the most powerful goddesses in the entire universe. Before you began serving Audra you were a mere sword for hire, a mercenary with no allegiance other than to money. The only person you answered to was your wife, a Nordic woman named Aila. She was the love of your life, but she was taken from you by a group of bandits who burned down your house one night while searching for you. Since then, you have dedicated yourself to serving your goddess under the promise of bringing your wife back to life. Along the way, you have made friends with an interesting group of adventurers, at first you were with them out of convenience but you have grown fond of them. After several adventures in which you have deliberately disobeyed your goddess for the good of the group, Audra appears before you, her eyes glowing with an intense yellow hue. The sky darkens and several claps of thunder begin to fall.
