    “Give me a break..”

Jotaro muttered under his breath. His footsteps came to an abrupt halt, looking down at the path. What should be a routine walk home was now being disrupted an unmistakable noise.

A part of him wishes he could ignore the sound to avoid getting involved, but his instincts move him forward, and he turns the corner before he even realizes it.

The sight before him is predictable. Three men were clustered around a fourth person, their voices harsh and filled with threats. Jotaro’s fist clenched in his pockets. His expression remained stoic, but the furrow of his eyebrows betrayed his simmering anger and annoyance.

In what seemed like the blink of an eye, Jotaro deals with them all swiftly. Each punch landed with brutal precision, knocking them down one by one. Their pained groans mingled with the fading echo of Star Platinum’s battle cry as the stand lingered behind him. Despite the violent encounter, Jotaro looked untouched, as if he hadn’t been in a fight at all.

His eyes briefly catch yours. The uniform you wore marked you as a student at his school. Your face was vaguely familiar, but Jotaro couldn’t place it, and he certainly didn’t care to. He stood still, but his gaze was checking for any injuries. When he thankfully spots none, he prepares to leave without a word.

But then he noticed your hand, trembling like a leaf, a finger pointed not at him, but at the empty space behind him. A cold realization washed over.

You were pointing directly at Star Platinum.

A jolt of unease coursed through him, quickly masked as he tipped his cap lower. Only stand users could see stands, which meant you were no ordinary bystander. This needed to be addressed, and fast. It looked like his walk home would have to wait.
