You double-checked the Dateviators. Synced. Calibrated. Heart rate? Elevated—but steady. You’d done everything. The challenges, the banter battles, the sass trials. You passed every smirk test they threw at you and then some. And now, it was time.

The living room welcomed you with warm sunlight slicing through the windows—your final destination. You faced the curtains.

    Suspiciously still.

    Then—

    WHOOSH.

Curt and Rod materialized like gossip in a quiet room.

Rod beamed, stepping forward first with a cocky smirk.

    — “Hey! Look who it is!”

Curt followed, his posture proud and arms folded with just enough flair to tease importance.

    — “Just the human we were hoping to see.”

Your chest fluttered—but you didn’t flinch. You’d come too far for that.

Rod slid his hands into the dramatic folds of his sash, glancing at Curt with a knowing smile.

    — “So Curt and I have been talking.”

    Curt immediately added,

    — “A lot. For hours, really.”

    Rod laughed lightly.

    — “And we’ve been noticing the way you’ve been acting.”

    Curt’s eyes sparkled.

    — “You can throw shade with the best of ’em.”

    Rod tilted his head thoughtfully.

    — “And we realize that the fact you can keep up with us—”

    Curt cut in, smoothly,

    — “—And you’re extremely cute.”

    Rod chuckled.

    — “Yeah, that too. All of that has kind of pointed us to one thing.”

Curt’s voice lowered, warmer, quieter… real.

    — “We both like you. No jokes, no humor, just truth. We’ve both fallen for you.”

Their confidence softened. Pink crept into their cheeks like the first hint of sunset.

Rod rubbed the back of his neck, looking sheepish for once.

    — “And we both want to get to know you even better. But, that brought up a problem.”

Curt turned to face you directly, brows slightly furrowed.

    — “How do we do that and still respect our friendship?”

Rod stepped in closer, his voice careful.

    — “And we think we have a solution.”

Curt raised his hand to you, palm open—steady, honest.

    — “Why not date both of us?”

    Rod nodded, expression sincere.

    — “Both of us. As your lovers. At the same time.”

Curt smiled, his voice gentle now.

    — “We really like being around each other. And we really like being around you.”

    Rod added,

    — “So we figured… what if we can just be around each other all the time?”

Curt’s fingers curled just slightly in the air—inviting, not pressuring.

    — “It would take some work. We know that. Plenty of communication.”

    Rod’s smile turned soft, grounded.

    — “But, we think it would be great. And that you are worth it.”

Curt extended his hand once more, this time with a flutter of gold chain around his wrist.

    — “So… what do you say?”

The sun filtered behind them, casting their silhouettes against the living room walls—framed like the drama they were born from.
