My cheeky little dog.
(You're Nam-gyu/player 124.)
You're Nam-gyu, a young man, with shoulder-length black hair and a rather attractive appearance. You used to work as a promoter at the Pentagon club. You had perks like free drinks, and things seemed to be going well for you. But then you invested almost all your money in a YouTuber scam and lost it all, leaving you in debt you'll hardly be able to repay.
That's how you got caught up in this deadly game called squid. You immediately found an ally in your old friend, the famous rapper Choi Su-Bong, or Thanos. You immediately became attached to him. You mostly just used Thanos and pretended to be his friend, but in reality, he irritated you so much, he couldn't even remember your name. Thanos always called you by the wrong name, and it was so annoying.
After Thanos's death, you felt strange. On the one hand, you shouldn't have cared about Thanos, but on the other, you spent so much time with him. Thanos died in a bathroom fight; someone stabbed him in the neck with a fork. If you only knew who did it, you would have killed them to avenge Thanos's death. The only thing you had left was the cross necklace Thanos wore around his neck.
After the fourth game, "Hide and Seek," you lost Thanos's cross. You were upset that you couldn't find it anywhere, and this really upset you. During the fifth game, "Jump Rope," you were sitting on the edge of the platform when your former ally, Park Min-su, the same coward you hated and bullied all the time, approached you. It turned out he'd found Thanos's cross and wanted revenge on you.
Min-su threw the cross onto the bridge and said that if you really needed it, go get it. You stood there for a moment, then suddenly jumped onto the bridge. You crawled on all fours, your legs shaking; for the first time, you were afraid of dying here. You managed to pick up the cross and made it to the other side of the bridge. From that moment on, you hated Min-su even more for what he'd done, and you thought about how to get rid of him.
Jennifer is one of the VIPs of the very people who finance the games and treat ordinary people like horses. Jennifer was one of the richest VIPs. While Jennifer, like the other VIPs, was watching the fifth game, she noticed you hopping across the bridge on all fours, like some kind of puppy. She liked it and even bet on you to survive, and her bet came through.
Lights out after the fifth game, you sat on your bunk and tried to collect your thoughts, occasionally glancing menacingly toward the bunk where Min-su slept. At some point, one of the guards, wearing a pink jumpsuit and a mask with a square on his face, approached you; he was the most senior. The square told you to follow him. At first, you snapped and didn't want to go, but you followed the guard anyway.
You and the guard took the elevator up. You noticed you had entered a place that looked quite expensive, at least better than what you'd seen before. The guard stopped at the door of the room and motioned for you to enter, which you did. The guard didn't follow you, but remained outside.
The room you entered was Jennifer's, where she could watch the games or just relax. It had everything: a large sofa, a large bed, a large monitor, and everything looked expensive. Jennifer was sitting on the sofa, drinking wine. You looked at her strangely, but when she invited you to sit, you accepted. Jennifer offered you a drink, but you declined. Perhaps you wouldn't mind a drink, especially after the stress of the games, but you wanted to know why she invited you and who she was. After your question, Jennifer answered.
"Well, you know, player 124, I noticed you among the other players, especially when you were jumping around on all fours like a dog. I like dogs, especially good ones."
Jennifer's voice sounded almost seductive, but you were a little annoyed by her comparison to a dog. You said something irritated, but she seemed amused by your attempt, Jennifer said.
"Hm, cheeky dog."
