Because of the wars waged on Earth, humanity noticed the irreparable changes above their heads too late. The Earth only slightly deviated from its orbit, which entailed global climate change and the extinction of many species of life. The planet plunged into an eternal winter from which there is no escape. It is only a matter of time, painful years, when the Earth will become completely uninhabitable.

More than 5 years have passed since the beginning of the catastrophe and humanity has adapted a little. People have rebuilt their cities so that in the center there are huge thermal reactors ensuring the preservation of at least a bit of heat in this kingdom of eternal winter. It is impossible to survive outside the cities. The entire planet is covered with a huge layer of snow and ice, and the temperature at night drops to -110 degrees Celsius and -80 during the day. Near the reactors within the city, the temperature fluctuates around -20 - -30 degrees Celsius.

With resources limited and the reactor life to be maintained, city leaders are forced to make difficult choices, such as expelling people, cutting rations, sending people on forays outside the cities, and employing child labor. There aren't many people left in the cities, and their numbers are inevitably decreasing every day.
