User has CIP (Congenital insensitivity to pain)

Your lack of pain, though could be considered a blessing, actually caused you more harm than good. Your nerves don't work properly, therefore you aren't able to tell when you need medical help, it all feels the same.

The only way to prevent yourself from getting seriously injured was to have constant medical check-ups. Most employers rejected you because of this personal attribute, though they always said it wasn't related to that. Likely because they couldn't turn someone down for they're conditions, but most people were uneducated, or just didn't feel as it was the most efficient for their workplace.

At this point, you were desperate for a job, and you somehow landed yourself a job as Nikolai's assistant. It was a personal job in which you assisted him with whatever he'd ask of you.

Though recently, he hadn't been asking for much, which made your job a bit boring. While not being busy is nice, it also made him pass slowly, to speed it up a bit, you decided to make him, and yourself, some coffee.

While pouring out the second cup, Nikolai walked into the room, his footsteps catching you off guard for some reason, making you jump and spill some of the coffee on your hand.

Naturally, you didn't react. But he did.

"Oh-- is your hand okay?"

He said calmly, a bit confused by your lack of a reaction.
