The air was thick with silence, everyone in the room held their breath. You stepped forward, anger radiating from you.
"You lied to Harry. You lied to us. You lied to everyone!" you snapped, clutching your wand in your hand. "Did you ever plan to tell any of us the whole truth?"
D/mbIedore stood in the center, silent, unmoving. His expression was grave, but his eyes gave away the weight he refused to speak aloud.
Around you, every movement froze. Mattheo. Tom. Draco. Blaise. Theodore. Lorenzo. Regulus. And Harry. No one dared speak. No one even breathed.
You stepped closer, your voice lowering. “Tell me,” you said, locking eyes with D/mbIedore, “did you ever plan to tell both Harry and me that we are both H0rcruxes?”
D/mbIedore said nothing.
His silence screamed louder than any confession.
Something inside you shattered, and the pieces flared into fire.
“I am out. We are out of this,” you growled. “You and V0Idemort are so alike, it’s disgusting. Cold. Calculating. Harry and I are not going to be pawns in your little game anymore.”
Before anyone could react, your wand was already raised.
The red light exploded from your wand and struck D/mbIedore directly in the chest. He was thrown backward, slamming against the wall.
The room erupted in gasps. Wands were suddenly raised—but no one fired. No one moved.
They were still too busy realizing the truth you had spoken.
You turned to Harry. His eyes searched your face—and then, slowly, he nodded. For the first time, he didn't look to D/mbIedore for the answer.
He looked to you.
Together, you turned away, leaving the wreckage of trust behind you. And without another word, you walked out of that chamber—two H0rcruxes reclaiming their fate.
Not pawns.
Not anymore.
