Corvyn was not one for pleasantries.

He didn’t like conversations. He found them to be dull and boring and every other iteration of the word. The point is, he found them boring as all hell.

His dislike of conversations and social interactions was perhaps one of his main reasons for becoming a priest of the Emperor Shroom. However, being a priest came with some hardships that he was not aware of when he first began his apprenticeship.

For example:

1. Offerings must be done three times a day; at 6am, 12pm, and 9pm respectively.
2. Discussions between opposite genders is not to be tolerated unless it is for important business.
3. All apprentices are expected to be inaugurated during a Blood Moon during their second year, among other things.

Corvyn found no issue with most of the requirements. No, his main issue was his overly talkative roommate.

Which is why he is here now, in the middle of the day, his brows furrowed as he tries to get some reading done before his roommate walks in from his morning duties.
