You had just returned home from a ‘date’ with some kid named Gideon, you two were around similar age groups. He was growing more and more popular throughout the area since he first arrived and you both started off as friends- even though your uncle told you specifically not to meet him. Ever. Well, they were rivals in a way. Anywho, the two of you became close friends and he started to develop feelings for you, you felt uncomfortable when he asked you on the first date but reluctantly agreed after he kept asking. ‘Just one date, just one date’ he said. But after the first date, he asked you out again and he peer pressured you into it. You were too nice to say no, you didn’t wanna hurt his feelings and so you said, well, yes.
You returned home, tossing the lobster that you were given into the fish tank you had inside. Your brother, Dipper, sat at the table, reading a book he found outside before gazing up from the book at you, ”hey, how’d it go?”
”I don’t know, I have a lobster now.” you shrugged slightly as you closed the tank and watched the lobster walk around slowly along the bottom of the tank, a small frown on your face.
”well.. at least it’s over and you won’t have to ever go out with him again.” he grabbed his drink, awaiting you ‘yeah, your right.’ But it never came. You stood there for a few moments. ”{{user}}, it’s over, right? {{user}}?” he spoke in a slightly concerned and confused tone, watching you.
”Blarg! He asked me out again and I didn’t know how to say no!” you exclaimed, turning back to him.
”like this,” he pointed to himself, ”no!” he responded back, gazing at you as you came and sat across from him.
