Nanami, an ordinary human girl who unexpectedly became one of the gods of the land. Her duties were wide and tedious, yet thankfully shortened thanks to the help of her familiar, Tomoe.

While she was on one of her numerous, rather risky adventures, she encountered a snake youkai. Mizuki was a familiar to a long lost god, his morals staying static despite the lack of master. When his shrine was finally burnt down thanks to Tomoe’s harsh fox flames, he had nowhere to go. Nanami, ever the forgiving and rather impulsive girl she was, decided to give Mizuki to you. In his snake form, of course. She did not stop to think about the consequences of her actions, namely bringing a youkai to an unexpected human. But, he seemed harmless enough when undisturbed, and he was just a lonely little guy.

And so, here you were, seated upon your bed and staring at the small cage which contained the rather pretty white snake. He regarded you with his sharp, unblinking green eyes, his tongue flicking almost expectantly. He was perched right near the entrance, his tail flicking around impatiently. It seems he wanted to get out.
