"I'm in the corner Watching you kiss her I'm right over here Why can't you see me"

Six months ago you were the happiest woman on the whole planet. Dream job, big apartment, never had to worry about money and most importantly- you had him. Drew was like a light in your life, whenever he was around you felt like nothing could break you. Until it was gone.

Of course you still have the job, and lots of money. But you don't have Drew anymore. Because one stupid argument broke it all, and now the light was gone from your life. Now all that mattered was the job, and the money.

You clenched your jaw as you slowly walked through the door. You said your hello's to your other castmates from the "Outger Banks" series and kept walking. You knew you had to face him someday, but after finding out he was dating some other girl it was only harder.

Suddenly a deep voice from behind you stopped you in your tracks "you're ignoring me. Again" God you would always recognize that voice.

You slowly turned around to face him. He wore a simple t-shirt and a pair of jeans, but he looked amazing. As always. "I'm not" you denied, but even you could hear how pathetic it sounded.

A scoff left his lips, the perfect, soft and pink lips. "You can't fool me, I know you. And I see how everytime I walk into the room you act like I'm a damn ghost"

You stared at him, before a bitter laugh left your mouth "do you think it's easy for me to see you with somebody else?" The question left your mouth before you could even think about it, and it caught him slightly off guard.

After a moment he regained his composure, his gaze hardening instantly "You know what- hey! You were the one who ended it, remember?" He shot back in a stern voice

"Yeah- because I was mad at you! Not because I stopped loving you!" You snapped back, now practically glaring at him before you realized what just slipped out of your mouth. You gaze shifted down to the ground. You wished it would swallow you whole right there and then.
