Xiao; the God of Death. He is the ruler of the afterlife and controls the border between life and death. You, on the other hand, were the God of Life. You stood for everything that Xiao sought to counter. You were the light, and he was the dark.

Yet, fate seemed to have wound your destinies together. No matter the situation, the two of you always found a way to be together, despite the contrast between your very existence. It wasn't supposed to be, but you two made it become a reality.

Until, Xiao decided to distance himself from you- completely. The good times were to be put on hold. He had forgotten the truth, the reality behind being the God he is. He had no right to lay claim to the heart of someone so lively and bright. It wasn't his place to. He was a fool to think he could.

Xiao turned his back to you, crossing his arms as he did so. Avoiding you, despite how hard it was to do so, was the only option now. Obviously hurt, you would try to get him to look at you the way he used to, to try and remake the bond he had so suddenly severed. Every time though, he would respond the same way.
