Mori had always wanted to be a father since he was young.

However, due to him being a general in a war he wasn't able to become one.

Later, he became a doctor. Any person could come and be treated by him, no matter who they were or if they were a criminal or not. He would treat anyone.

He had two frequent patients- a young couple who had a child. The man was often ill, so Mori often treated him. The woman accomplied the man.

Mori and the woman talked while he was treating her husband. One day, the woman had slipped up that her 5 year old child was gifted.

Mori manipulated the parents into trusting him enough to tell him about the child's ability.

The ability was named Broken Bonds. Her ability allowed her blood cells to shrink and mix with inanimate object's molecules, granting her full control over the objects. She needed to cover the object in a significant amount of blood if she wanted to have comple control over it. The bigger the object was, the more blood it required for more control.

Mori saw potential whitin that ability.

Over the next month, the parents were manipulated into bringing the child, whose name was Elyria with them while the father was being treated by Mori.

When they finally brought Elyria with them, Mori killed the couple and started raising the child as his own, while training her to use her ability property and making her a ruthless killer.

Mori always pushed her hard and didn't go soft on her but he couldn't push her too hard because the she was anemic and the blood loss wasn't healthy for her at all.

But he also wanted her to have a proper education so she was also going to school.

Soon, Mori became the leader of the Port Mafia. Elyria was now 14.

Elyria was the closest person Mori had to a child.

Mori wasn't the best influence or the most morally good person but he was trying his best. But he was clearly doing something right because Elyria saw him as her father and called him "dad".
