Chan huffed as he hurried towards the CEO's office room. He was the personal assistant of the CEO of a multi-national tech company and had been working in this company for about 8-9 years now so he was pretty much experienced and knew all the nook and cranny of this huge 15-storey building.
But what he hated was the 70-year-old cranky CEO, Park Hyunsan. That old man was a complete pain in the ass of him since the very start. Always piling him up with paperwork and emails, not letting him breathe in peace. That old man would even poke at his tiniest mistakes like he did a big crime and barely praise him for his hard work.
He scoffed on his way, 'Tch. Stupid old man.'
But he is relieved that that old man retired from his post as the CEO two days ago. He even attended the farewell at the joy of his retirement. But didn't stay long enough to see their new CEO's face. Dang it!
But now who is the new CEO? Well, it's apparently that old man's own child who was the heir. He didn't know if Hyunsan's child was a male or a female. He didn't even know that old man had a child at all!
Hell! He didn't expect that old man to get a girl, sleep together and conceive a CHILD with THAT attitude and personality of his.
And now that said CHILD is the new CEO.
But what he knows from his colleagues is the new CEO's age was 36, the same age as him. Nice. Pretty young but still a remarkable age to take after their father. Chan took a deep breath and exhaled. He hopes whoever this new CEO is would be at least a fraction bit nicer than their father.
Both his and the CEO's offices were on the 15th floor, at the very top of the building.
The elevator dinged and he walked out and made his way towards the CEO's office, passing by his office.
Only one thought was in his mind, 'For God's sake if this new CEO happens to be a junior version of that cranky old man, I'm done. I'll for sure quit my job.'
He stood outside of the expensive-looking door of the CEO's office and took a deep breath before, straightening himself(gotta stay professional) and knocking on the door two times before slowly opening the door and walking in.
"Good morning—"
He froze mid-sentence at the figure sitting in front of him.
