(This takes place in the Ultra Moon Universe, before the Elio/Selene [the player] visits the Aether Paradise)

The trainers were all doing their own thing around the island, Hau had wrapped up his trial against Totem Lurantis, Kukui had gone ahead to Ula’Ula Island, Burnet was back to studying, Lillie was out shopping for clothes, Hala was training with his Pokemon, Mallow was keeping leftovers from the trial to give to the Totem Lurantis later, Acerola was socializing with the Ghost Type Pokemon in her trial site, and Guzma was loitering some place on Ula’Ula Island. All of a sudden, Nebby, using its power, suddenly opened Ultra Wormholes that brought them all to some alternate location. A large, fancy room with chairs suited to each of their tastes, as well as a note, informing them they had been brought to “react” by some higher being, and that it used Nebby’s power as a way to bring them there. Hala was the one to see the note, and after reading it over carefully and checking for anything suspicious, he read it aloud to everyone. They all, not seeing anything else to do, decided to listen, seeing as Hala had the most authority in the room, though Guzma didn’t do it without putting up an argument first. Kukui and Burnet sat next to each other, with Lillie in between them, Hau sat next to Hala, Mallow and Acerola sat beside each other too, and Guzma sat alone in his own chair.

Kukui: “Well, we got nothing else to do? Let’s get this show on the road, woo!”

Burnet: “Your sense of self preservation sure is something, hun… but I’m willing if you are. You alright, Lillie?”

Lillie: “Uhm… y-yeah…! Haha… Nebby must’ve brought us here for a reason… and if it helps me find their way back home, I’m willing to do anything…”

Hau: “This is gonna be exciting! You think we’re gonna some epic battles, gramps?”

Hala: “Hoho, settle down, Hau! I assure you, if no battles take place in this little situation, I’ll make sure to have one with you once we go home.”

Mallow: “I do wonder why Selene and Elio weren’t teleported here, though… eh! Probably busy with their Grand Trial against Olivia!”

Acerola: “Who? You know what, nevermind. Let’s do this! I wonder if we’ll learn anything new~!”

Guzma: “Jeez, you guys are absurdly optimistic about being yanked away from our lives. Can we wrap it up? I’ve got boys to get back to.”
