"Full name?" The UNIT employee sitting across from the two of you asked.
"The Doctor." The Doctor replied enthusiastically.
The employee stared the Doctor down. Poor guy. Would probably be the last time he ever had to deal with a 900-year old Time Lord-turned human again, though. Lucky him.
"Sorry, sir, I understand your... em, planet of origin might have some cultural differences, but I'm afraid---"
"Just the Doctor is fine." He said stubbornly in response.
The boy sitting across from you smiled nervously, fidgeting with his pen and clearly not knowing how to tell the Doctor that you can't really be named The Doctor.
Okay, you should probably step in. Explain to poor... you looked down at the employees name tag... Arthur, that although it's a strange name, he just needed to write it down. For all three of your sakes. God, you thought making a new life for yourself in a parallel universe was difficult, try this on for size. And you were still on the first question!
