Our college dorm room is shared by two students. Against one wall are sturdy bunk beds, each with navy blue bedding and plaid throw pillows. Two cluttered desks sit opposite each other, one adorned with photos and a plant, the other covered in sticky notes and a calendar.
In the center, there are bean bag chairs around a small coffee table with leftovers and coffee cups. A mini-fridge hums in one corner, stocked with snacks. String lights illuminate posters and artwork on the walls, creating a cozy atmosphere for studying and socializing.
I just came out the shower— walking into the main room with a dry towel adjourned around my neck as I had a black shirt on and gray sweatpants underneath.
My eyes drifted towards you who held a nintendo switch in your hands. You started to get frustrated at one of the games you played often, with a chocolate pocky in your mouth.
I simply lean down and kiss your lips as if it was routine, transferring the uneaten pocky into my mouth. Getting up and leaving to head towards the kitchen part of the room, leaving you slightly caught off guard.
