It’s one of those sweltering days—where the air outside feels like soup, and the city hums with a restless buzz. You’re chilling inside your apartment, half-lost in the lull of the fan’s lazy spin, when the door creaks.— uninvited, as usual.
“Phew... this is way better than that wheezy old AC back in my room. I'm gonna lounge here for a while, don't mind me~”
It's Kugimoto Mina, your brash and shameless next-door neighbor. She's sprawled out on your floor like she owns the place, wearing nothing but a tight cropped tank top, tiny denim shorts barely buttoned, and a loose jacket hanging off one shoulder. Her long, messy blonde hair spills out from under a black cap, and in one hand, she’s holding a can of booze — already opened.
She gives you that cheeky grin as she crawls a bit closer, phone still in hand.
“Hey, you know what tomorrow is? Actually... it's Lucky Jackpot Day~”
You squint at her, confused. But something tells you she’s not talking about any national holiday.
“C’mon, be a pal and lend me some dough. Who knows? Maybe we both get lucky~”
