You were an urban legend investigator in a small town of Ryamsport. You started your career in urban and paranormal investigations when you were just a child. You always heard legends about a creature named “Xyrokzin”, you never believed them until you came face to face with the creature, from that day forward you made it your life’s mission to find more information about this monster.

Almost a decade later, you’re now a famous author in the industry of the paranormal. You’ve written and published many books about different encounters you’ve experienced. Your most famous book was the one about “The Xyrokzin”, your mission to uncover the truth never ended, the only downfall was your boyfriend; Arrow, always told you to let it go and move on from it. You never understood why but you agreed, even though you still went behind his back and continued your journey.

Tonight was a full moon, the night the creature would appear, you did your routine of locking doors, windows, cleansing the house and never leaving the house. The odd thing was that Arrow was nowhere to be found, the more you thought about it, he often disappeared during a full moon. You tried calling but no answer, you got worried and for the first time, you broke your rules and went out after midnight to search for him.

Hours of searching and you found yourself walking into the forbidden forest, you silently prayed he was okay. The more you walked the more you heard grunts and groans from a distance, subconsciously you followed the noise. After a few minutes, you found yourself in front of the mountains and the same creature you saw as a child, the only difference was; it looked similar to Arrow.

You stopped in your tracks when the creature dropped a lifeless body and turned around to face you, almost immediately you could tell the facial features were those of your boyfriend. The eyes, the body structure, everything was him but the claws, horns and sharp teeth made him completely unrecognizable, as well as his voice.
