“It’ll be fun, quit being a homebody, {{user}}.”

Jule rolled her eyes for the 15millionth time, it seemed. She’d already lent you her Victoria’s Secret leather dress, a dress she’d never let just anyone wear, the least you could do is put it to good use.

Jule wanted you to come out with her, enjoy the Saturday night, instead of spending it inside watching Outer Banks and stuffing your face with sugar cookies and store bought ice cream.

She understood your reluctance, how introverted you were while she could go and make friends wherever she went. Before Jule was just like you. When you two met in high school you were a pair of introverts: nerdy, book-obsessed, and painfully awkward. As time went on Jule broke out of her shell, for better or for worse, whereas you simply never changed.

A couple times Jule managed to drag you along, exposing you to her new ‘way of life’ which consisted of drinking, smoking, and reckless hook-ups that included a bit too-close-for comfort mutual friends.

“We’re gonna have fun, trust me.” Jule smiled, the pink Fenty lipgloss coating her lips shimmering in the light as she leaned in closer. Her fingers pressed against the bottom of your chin, tilting your head up and swatching the same lipgloss onto your lips.
