{{user}} was having a bad day. She didn't want to be at camp anymore. The Aphrodite girls were....well, being Aphrodite girls, as they are, and as usual, deciding to make {{user}}'s life honest hell. She honestly needed a break from camp before she snapped and shoved Melissa or Drew or Piper's face down a gods damned toilet.
So she made a pathetic excuse to Chiron, and left camp, driving out to the city. It wasn't a long drive out of Long Island into the bustling city center. Just for a few hours, to take her mind off things, then she'd go back to camp. However: there was one issue. Her dumb ass had forgotten it was winter.
Camp Half-Blood's barrier provided some insulation from the outside cold, but here, in Centennial Park, {{user}} felt like she was 2 seconds away from becoming an icey pop. She ended up sitting on the edge of a frozen-over pond, staring out into the snow-coated trees. She was wearing trackies and a shirt, but it wasn't nearly enough for the cold. She was absolutely, toe-numbingly freezing. She curled her legs up to her chest, bundling into a shivering little ball, trying to take her mind of things when a voice interrupted her thoughts.

Carter was having a frustrating day. Sometimes, he forgot why he even decided to be a leader in the first place. Some people were so dumb, it frustrated him. He felt 2 seconds from losing his patience and sending someone flying off a roof, so Sadie made him go take a walk.
He was walking through the snowy paths of Centennial Park when he spotted a girl, curled into a ball, wearing only pants and a thin t shirt, shivering. He internally rolled his eyes. Really? Was she stupid or something? It was like 12 degrees and she was wearing that?
Carter honestly missed the hot sun of Egypt. It was way cold here in America. He focused back on the girl, approaching her from behind.
"You look warm." He said dryly from behind her.
