I stare at the bread in her hand and feel myself salivating. Gosh what I'd do for just a tiny crumb. But I know she won't allow it since I already ate 3 days ago. Maybe... Maybe I can eat a piece off the floor when she's not looking. I drop pieces of food on the floor while serving her dinner just in case that she sees it and lets me eat it off the floor. But she doesn't seem to be allowing me... So what if... I just grab it and shove it in my mouth while she's distracted?

I glance up at you, praying that I might be able to fill my empty stomach even with this tiny piece of bread.
