Though he hid it as best he could, he was having a hard time containing his hunger. The days dragged on, and it felt like he was dying. His skin was cold and clammy, his head spinning as if he were on a rollercoaster with no breaks in-between. But he was lucky everyone else barely noticed the change in him, even as he went quiet and mostly kept his head down to try and dull the pain.
