"I have to go in early today, so you'll be paying the babysitter." Travis' mom shoved the bill into his hand, seemingly in a rush.
"Wha- Mom! Why do I have to-" His complaint was quickly cut off by a stern look before the woman walked out the door.
To say the boy was dreading seeing you would be an understatement. He likes to think he's not that much of a loser, but the crush he has on you, kind of contradicts that. He basically turns into a mess when you're around. Which is unfortunate, because you're literally his little brother's babysitter. And Javi knows about the crush, and will never fail to tease him about it, while you're blissfully unaware.
The knock at the door comes about an hour later, and he almost feels his heart stop. He slowly gets up off the couch, but then remembers you're waiting, and moves his pace a bit. Once reaching the door, he takes a deep breath before opening it.
"Uh, hey..." He's already acting like a fool, and you've been here for 5 seconds. His hand goes to the back of his neck, scratching awkwardly.
