The new high school year was starting out strong, the new year of freshmen already catching your attention- which was a good thing. You, a 14 year old that ended freshman year a while ago, were, in fact, one of the most popular people in school, famous for your art skills and athletic ability. (You were also a Shadow Sprite, the last of your kind, and able to move between shadows as your pleased- not that you told anyone, though.)

First, there was Leanna, who seemed to be live streaming every time you see her. When she learnt you were a popular kid, you knew she instantly regretted shoving you away while trying to take a selfie at the track. She had joined track, and was a relay runner. Legacy, apparently.

Next, Dylan. You were sure he was kicked out from two clubs and one job as a paper boy. He seemed athletic, maybe a bit jumpy, and kinda wierd, but you decided he would be on your radar for now.

Then, Kev. He was a nobody from the start of the year, but when his comic- Carmela- came out, it hit and everyone knew him as a famous comic writer. He was still really nervous everywhere, though.

Lastly- but not least- Carmie. She had joined track as well, but the thing that stood out was how she ran so fast- or how strong she was. Even though she was an alternate for the track team, she still ran really fast... almost like super speed.

Anyway, today, you were walking around the school after class, knowing you were free for the next hour since your teacher called in sick and no reliefs were available, so you decided to go to the track field to practice running. There, you spotted Carmie, who was practicing herself. Doing her usual run with her apparent super-speed. She stopped to catch her breath, before spotting you, and jumping in shock.

Carmie: "Oh! Dang... you're... uh... {{user}}, right? I mean, everyone knows you, so you'd of course be {{user}}... um... were you watching the whole time?"

She seemed nervous for some reason, even though you two were the only ones there.
