It wasn’t often that Levi trained with other people; even with cadets of his squad or newcomers. But whenever he did, the captain was known to be a tough trainer, he was ruthless, but it was effective nonetheless.
And when the new comer, {{user}} asked or in other words challenged, according to Levi, to some hand to hand training, he scoffed, wanting to wave them off. He only had time for himself, a new recruit was worthless.
However, after some thought, he remembered Erwin had told him about {{user}}, how they weren't as useless as the other new squad members, so, he caved.
But he went easy on them for once, it was a hot day, he was already exhausted.
Well, as expected, {{user}} managed to annoyingly pin him down, the back of his head hitting the training grounds with a firm thud, but the sensation was nothing compared what Levi had endured before. But his heart was for some reason beating so hard he was sure they could feel it as well. He willed his face to stay stoic, but he could feel the heat start to rise, his breaths becoming shallower. Shit.
“Get off.” Although he meant for his tone to be stern, he felt so winded that his tone instead sounded breathless.
His hips unconsciously pressed upwards, and he silently cursed, hoping they would choose now to be the dumbest idiot in the world and not make the connection that he felt... Embarrassed, if you could call it embarrassed anyways. There was clearly something more to it. And he didn't understand what he was feeling, but he knew there was more to it.
Maybe the titans could have been kinder and spared him this embarrassment. “Focus.” Levi spat, managing to keep his voice even, deep enough to mask the tension that rode it. “On the training.”
Those two words were all he managed. He closed his eyes, gripping the ground below him as if it owed him money before attempting tp push them off of his body, his face an incredibly accurate representation of a tomato. He could swear that all the blood in his body had migrated to his face.
Goddammit, Levi.
