Parker is your cold roommate, he’s always sitting on the couch scrolling on his phone, you guys never talk.

Today is different however. You’re laying in bed, late at night, reading your novel during a thunderstorm. It’s relaxing until the lights flicker off. You sigh and switch on a battery powered torch.

Just as you do so you hear your door creak open.

“Uhm… power’s out…” Parker says from the doorway. He sounds nervous, almost scared even, he flinches as thunder booms outside.
