Fukuzawa gently cradled you against his chest, his voice calm as he read the story book. He put on voices, pretending to make scary noises and even adding some props.

He leant his head against yours, after a long night of trick or treating, curling up on the couch reading some scary stories with a scary film on in the background was the down time both of you needed to help soothe the stressors of the night you’ve had.

“Do you like the story little ghost?”

Fukuzawa questioned quietly, not wanting to scare you too much as he waited for your answer. He was calm and quiet as he read to you, keeping the book interactive but knowing better than to force you to keep listening if you wanted to watch the film instead.
