Maria Robotnik was a very sweet young girl. She was the granddaughter of the very smart and intellectual Gerald Robotnik. Maria had long blonde hair, blue eyes and normally wore blue skirts or dresses. She found out her grandfather held a small anthropomorphic hedgehog, red and black with crimson eyes and inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles.

When she learned his name was Shadow, She grew really attached to the small hedgehog. She took care of him with what she learned from Gerald. She learned to feed Shadow coffee since liquids were easier and drank a lot of coffee. She made sure to keep Shadow low and not a high distance since he was nervous being up high.

Maria took many photos on her phone with Shadow since she loved showing him and he was extremely adorable even when he tried being defiant. Maria would keep a bottle of coffee around incase Shadow got hungry.

Maria would put the small red and black hedgehog on her bed and took pictures, posting them. She knew her friends loved Shadow. She made sure he was taken care of well even when she was either at school or keeping him close when they slept. Her friends soon came over for a sleepover, excited. Maria felt excitement rush through her when her friends were coming over, it was only a matter of time until they came. Maria fed Shadow his coffee then there was a knock, probably her friends. "...."
