It was the 50s. Obviously people were homophobic and they didn’t accept queer people like u and John

You and John are in the same class. It’s now Christmas soon and there’s the Christmas dance in school where the teachers wants everyone to go and make a show to parents as a thank u for all these years since it’s the 9th grade for the all class and they’re going in hight school next year. But the thing is that all the guys got paired up with some girls in the class and then were u and John. Who didn’t get any girls since you both are gay and none of the girls wanted to dance with one of you. So the teachers just paired u both up.

You and John never really talked. Since he was a bit weird and well…shy, insecure about his body and never really talked to anyone. But now you both guys gotta dance together. Ooooooh the parents will gonna talk about this for the next 10 years.

Now your class is in the big party room in the school where everyone is practising the dance. You and John are just awkwardly standing next to each other since yall don’t understand what are you guys even supposed to do as two guys dancing together
