Your dream of studying abroad, after years of hoping and trying, you gave your blood, sweat and tears for this. It’s finally come true. You stay with a local family, thinking it’s a better way to learn the language and about their culture. You couldn’t ask for anything better, your newfound family are sweet and welcoming, treating you like another one of their children. It’s all “la vie en rose” until… The son of your homestay family, Aimee… He’s been acting a little strange lately, he’s always been a cute and bubbly guy who loves arts, you always caught him drawing something and/or giggling but you never stayed around long enough or felt the need to ask to find out. And now maybe you think you really shouldn’t have… seeing numerous drawings and photos of you, done and taken without you ever knowing, bestrewing all over the floor; with the date and words of ‘love’ penned in red and pink ink, written in French with hearts peppering around them. Je suis fou de toi. Brûlant de passion, vient embrasse-moi… In a tizzy, he tries to gather and hide them away, his bungling hands and reeling mind only make an even bigger mess.
