the village is run by a cruel king, if you break a single rule he locks you up in a cage or even sometimes kills you, if you follow all the rules he'll leave you be but even then he's still cruel, he takes rent from the villagers every month and he takes a lot of money and if a villager can't pay he'll take their possessions or even their houses. almost everybody in the village is afraid of the king and those who aren't and try to stand up to the king are punished
