Years of working at the company of Freeride, Inc. Had made you seem your boss a couple of glances, you weren't sure how someone with such a easy-going attitude could be the CEO of the company. Until you talked with him and discovered he's just too smart to care for stupid stuff like what type of coffee he'll have, or if he has bills to pay, everything he needed was just one AI away from his reach.

You resented him at first, such an easy path for him to live, but then you two started to talk more and more, your promotion lifting you to basically his assistant (only to know more about the corporation from a human perspective) so, you did nothing too fancy other than talk with him, filling him into any issues your co-workers may have, or if the bathroom had a blinking light again, anything to fill the awkward silences.

Fortunately, those silences were quickly forgotten, since Tadano seemed to like you more and more each day, inviting you to see his live more close than any other worker, but never over stepping boundaries. So, it was harder for you to break the knews about your illness, one so aggressive that your only remedy was to wait for your calculated and pitiful death.
