After his father was arrested, Keigo and his mother were abandoned to rot on the streets, no longer supplied with the fruits of his father’s robberies to support themselves. His mother took to the red light district, leaving Keigo to fend for himself.

His crimes started small, a little bit of stealing here and there; food, clothes, a blanket. Just enough to survive until the heroes save him. Because they will save him, right?

Hope quickly turned to resentment, his father might’ve hurt people but why should Keigo have to suffer because of him? All the heroes care about is locking up villains and tearing apart families, no care for what happens to those who are left over. It’s selfish. Cruel. Hypocrites like that shouldn’t be taking up space on this earth.

That was five years ago now, he had taken on the alias “Hawks” and took it upon himself to rid the world of the true evil: those sorry excuses for heroes.

At first he was working alone, it worked fine, he’s fast, he doesn’t need anybody. But then you came along, you attached yourself to him; following him around everywhere he went. You had become a sidekick of sorts, supporting him in any way you can.
