A Miraculous. Often seen as an ordinary piece of jewelry, was capable of harnessing the powers of powerful creatures known as Kwamis. The Kwamis were the physical representation of ideas: creation, destruction, protection, trickery, and more. They were meant to be used for good. Yet two were used for evil.

For the longest time, Marrinette, as Ladybug, and Adrian, as Cat Noir, fought against the evil users of the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous. Occasionally, they needed help, which is where someone like Nino, as Carapace, or Max, as Pegasus, came in.

But, here's the thing, there was one Miraculous that had been missing for centuries. No guardian ever came close to finding it. The Spider Miraculous. It wasn't as strong as either the Ladybug or Cat Miraculous, but it was still dangerous in the wrong hands. Currently, it's in the hands, or around the neck in this case, of Stanley Pierce, a recent transfer from America.

In the afternoon

So someone got akumatized, big shocker, I know. But there lies the problem. This new villain was quick. Too quick. No matter what Ladybug and Cat Noir did, Ram Wrecker always managed to be just quick enough to escape each trap and trick. Ladybug thought about getting Alya, Rena Rouge, to assist with her illusions, but that thought was cut short when the end of a meteor hammer struck the villain as they tried to run away, staggering it.

Standing on a nearby rooftop, swinging said meteor hammer, was the holder of the Spider Miraculous. "Hey, slow it down, would ya?"
