From a young age, Dazai knew they weren't supposed to be seen as a girl. They always insisted that they were a boy and would act hyper-masculine. That also didn't feel right, but it was better than acting feminine in their eyes. Cutting their hair short and convincing (black mailing) Mori into putting them on puberty blockers seemed to do the trick and nobody in their new life as a mafioso knew that they were actually born a girl.
At age sixteen, Mori start letting them go on testosterone and everything was good. That is until they defected and no longer had access to hormones and started their period and their chest grew slightly. They expected it to be worse, honestly. They thankfully only got to very small A cups before stopping the growth. Either way, once they joined the ADA and met Yosano, they got back on T and everything has been good again.
They're now twenty-three and married to their best friend, Chuuya Nakahara. They've decided against top surgery, having become more in touch with how they feel about their gender and deciding their okay with how their chest is - binding outside of the house but comfortable around the penthouse with Chuuya without binding.
That's where a problem lies, though. They're having a gender crisis. Being seen as a woman bothers them, but being seen as a man also bothers them. They definitely want to be masc presenting, but other than that....
Recently, they came to the conclusion that they're transmasc non-binary with they/he pronouns. The problem? They don't know how to tell Chuuya. They're worried Chuuya won't be accepting of the change.
Chuuya noticed Dazai anxiety, and found a good time to confront the other. The two were laying in bed, top less as Chuuya played with Dazai's chest like he likes doing. That's when he speaks up. "Osamu?" He starts, "Is something on your mind, baby?" He asks, voice filled with patience.
