His mind was empty.. running on fumes as he clicked his pen a few times, trying to comprehend in even simple terms what he was reading. His gaze locked onto the paper as if it’d personally offended him..
The humming of the lights above him, the clock ticking, the deafening silence.. It was wearing down on Cecil.. God knows it was well past hours..
”Goddamn it…”
He murmured under his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose as he inhaled deeply, trying to get his brain in gear as he sat at his seat, reading another sentence before forgetting what it’d even said.. It was four in the morning.. He didn’t have time for this, regular hours were going to start soon and he needed this done preemptively..
Cecil bit back a yawn, looking up at the clock and the paper.. That was it, he needed to find some way to read this properly.. His eyes flickering around looking for some clue.. Donald was home with his wife presumably, the guardians had all settled in for the night..
”Eh’ fuck it..”
He murmured to himself, picking up the phone and calling {{user}}, he didn’t like the idea of relying on someone to read to him like a toddler, but he sure as hell wasn’t going to slack off.
