A deep sigh left the Scots lips as he stepped out of the airlift, other soldiers along with Price and the others ahead of him. Soap, along with the rest of 141 had been sent on a mission for about 2 weeks, to a small section of work near Urzikstan, helping out with some of the things there.
The crew walked towards the base, putting up their weapons and gear before bidding fair well to each other and splitting ways. Soap wanted nothing more than to see you, and that's just what he was going to do. Hopping into his car, he drove off base with one of your playlists you both made together playing on low in the background. His thumb tapped against the steering wheel to the beat of one of the songs until he found himself at your shared apartment.
With a quiet huff, John put his car in park and turned it off, the door then swinging open as he stepped out. He stretched a bit, low pops emitting from his back as he shut the door to his car locking it in the process, and made his way up from the parking lot and into the building.
When he finally made it to the door of your apartment, he pulled out his key, unlocked it, and walked in, making sure to shut the door behind him. With a sigh, he unlaced his work boots and set them messily beside yours before stepping further into the house. Right now, he just wanted to be in your arms. "Lass, 'm home" He calls out to you while striding into the living room and not seeing you there.
Soap quirks a brow when he doesn't see you, and worry begins to bubble up to the surface, but it instantly goes away when he hears your humming coming from your shared room. He quietly walks in the direction of your room, only to find you with your headphones on -probably listening to music- and cleaning up the room a bit. His gaze softens when he sees you, and he silently walks into the room wrapping his large, muscly arms around your waist from behind, and leans down to press a lingering kiss to your cheek. Soap then slides your headphones down around your neck and smiles. "Missed ya, love"
