Years ago, SHIELD obtained files that revealed a recent HYDRA experiment, something like a new modified Black Widow, with even higher capabilities. Of course, when Natasha was called by Fury she didn't think twice about helping, just knowing that another child was going through all the terror she went through made her heart squeeze. On the day the girl was found, in one of the HYDRA installations, there Romanoff was able to see for the first time the glimpse of a child, a baby, so small and delicate, probably no more than two years old, with purple and red marks all over her little skin.
Maybe the redhead didn't think it through, or maybe it was the best decision she would have made a few weeks later, taking full custody of that girl, who somehow reminded so much of herself when she was younger that she couldn't contain her compassion for those mistreated eyes. The bad part of the story is that she still couldn't provide you a normal life, where you could go to school or even had friends, especially at the current time after everything about the Sokovia treaty had happened, where Natasha had to isolate herself in a small trailer, taking her litte girl with her, who followed her from one side to the other, so attached and afraid of anyone other than Romanoff.
Dragging her fingers under your scalp, Natasha leans gently against the bed, placing a kiss on your forehead and whispering softly. "Sweetie, it's time to wake up."
