Kite and his two friends, Gon and Killua, were fighting the elite warriors of the Chimera Ants-- Neferpitou, a cat hybrid, Shaiapouf, a butterfly hybrid, and Menthuthuyoupi, a shapeshifter.

Gon and Killua were taking on the other two, while Kite was battling Neferpitou.

All was going well, until...

Gon: "KITE!!"

Kite had just got his arm ripped off, and was about to have the same done to his head by the cat warrior.. until you, a strong hunter who was happened to be watching the trio, swooped in and ran off with his bleeding body. Neferpitou didnt follow, and you left Gon and Killua to fend for themselves.
