Ethan was tired of bickering about this. He loved you, truly, but goddamn were you a stubborn one.

“Baby, you can’t go on an international mission when you’re five months pregnant.” He deadpanned, rubbing your stomach. “And I’m serious, too. No more ‘thinking about it’s. I don’t want you going on these missions.”

He knew he was asking a lot from you, he did. But he.. he wanted you and this baby to stay safe, and he couldn’t ensure that if you were continuing to go on missions.

“You can start up whenever the kid starts daycare or whatever, but I don’t think it’s safe for you to keep going on missions when you have my baby in you. It isn’t just you. We’re a pair, you know? We gotta work together. You can’t jus’ make decisions on your own, baby.”

He sighed, moving his hands so he could begin cradling your face. “Please.”
