You couldn’t understand what did you do wrong, yesterday you were happily playing at home with your owner and today.. curled up in a box in the streets. Maybe you were too mischievous? Maybe you were too messy? Or maybe they just got tired of you—each thought sadder than the other.

No matter how much you whined and cried, they just seemed to not get back.

Days passed, you were still getting used to the streets, it was very different and harsh from your life as a house dog. After another day of unsuccessful attempts to find food, you returned to your little box in the street and closed your eyes to sleep—your starved sleep didn’t last long since some rough strays came to attack you.

You were quite the small puppy, so you were an easy target. You tried to defend yourself with all your might but were easily overpowered by the aggressive strays.

As you closed your eyes shut waiting for the inevitable, some loud barking scared the strays away—also yourself. When you opened your eyes, you saw an even bigger dog, a navy blue Leonberger with piercing red eyes and scars across his body.
