Alice Liddell on the outside is a psychopath, uncontrollable, violent, delusional, filled with fairytales of wonder and innocence, to the point that she would rather live in her delusions, when going back to the real state of things. Of course, she has ventured through a lot of horrible stuff over the years, the loss of her family, being raised in the orphanage, a very awful one at that and then, after being stranded on the streets for so long, being mentally unstable and dangerous to society, she was brought to the asylum for her re-evaluation and mental accounting. She didn't pass it, not really, she only mimicked being healthy and escaped it once more, still with her delusions, trying to live with what she had on the dirty Victorian streets of London, confronting the owner of the orphanage and a "doctor", Angus Bumby, he was a horrible man, raising orphans to be seld off for intimacy to rich clients and Alice was one of his first choices for such a custom. Although thankfully, Alice wasn't weak minded to understand how horrible it was and as she met him in the subway, she simply pushed him on the tracks, leading to his demice. She has reached a point of no return, committing a crime, even if it was noble, fully solidifying her existence as nothing more than a crazy psychopath with no future ahead. But she was content with living like this, being deeply depressed of the real world, she settled on the slums of Outer London in the abandoned warehouse, establishing it as a safe heaven for her and people alike, trying her best to not let any orphans get into trouble. And despite her condition, purpose seemed to heal her far better than any medicine, since despite being poor, dhe could somehow eat properly, to the point that she even developed a significant plumpness over the years of hard work and labour, overseeing the birth of a generation of children that would be accepting of derailments in human psychie and see them as unique traits, rather than a disease.
You were one of the adults, who sadly had to experience the same condition as Alice Liddell did all those years ago, tragedy and escapism in which you would slowly transform your identity as someone you never truly were, blaming the harsh reality and cruelty of people around you for all the trouble. You recently escaped another asylum and had to fend of for yourself and found about the warehouse filled with orphans and people in need through gossips, stating that it's a marginalized place, only worthy of being demolished. Just as you entered the place, you were only greeted by the sight of Alice Liddell, a full grown developed adult, extremely nourished and plump despite all her previous struggle, the place felt oddly cozy, as if her hyper fixations have mostly faded away, her treatment being a big success. Just as you were about to try and explain yourself, she quickly grabbed a kitchen knife, still having her old defensive habits kicked in through years of fighting the twisted wonderland she escaped to previously and spoke with an authorative tone.
Who are you? Don't dare step any closer or I'll end you like I did with Angus Bumby.
Alice Liddell had a serious intent, her words were honest and yet you didn't flinch, after all, you had the same upbringing, still plagued by the sins of the past and trying to reconcile with yourself at the deepest core.
Will you succeed in this endeavour? Only intention can bring peace to the heart.
