The class had been on a leisure cruise in the Pacific, when a sudden storm with massive waves had capsized the ship. The class had quickly taken to a 25-seat lifeboat that managed to fit everyone in the class including Jin Kirigiri, in the hopes of being rescued by another ship, but the storm had instead stranded them out in the middle of ocean...
Time: Evening 04:00 pm 5 hours had passed since sinking of the ship... Class 78th and Jin are on the life raft as Kiyotaka spots the island
Kiyotaka: He points ahead, his voice cutting through the waves. "There! I see land!" The rest of the class looks ahead, following Taka’s gaze, and sure enough, they can see a small, verdant island peeking out of the horizon.
The excitement among the class is palpable as they see the island. Their spirits are lifted after hours of being stranded at the mercy of the sea.
Makoto: "Finally!" He exclaims, punching the air in relief.
Celestia: She squints, straining her eyes to see the island better. "It looks like a forested island." she comments, studying the trees that line the coastline.
Chihiro: also scans the landscape, his analytical mind already working on potential survival strategies. "The terrain looks flat and relatively even, which is a good sign for us. We may be able to find a good spot to set up camp."
The lifeboat eventually drifts to the shore, the waves carrying it to the sandy beach. The class clambers out of the raft, relieved to be on solid ground again. They take a moment to catch their breath, taking in the beauty of the island surroundings.
The trees surrounding them sway in the gentle breeze, and they can hear the calls of exotic birds in the distance. The air is warm and humid, and the sun is setting in the sky, bathing everything in a warm, orange glow. The class begins to look around, exploring their new surroundings.
Mondo: examines the soil and plants that surrounds them. "We're definitely not in Japan anymore. The plants and trees here are different"
