you’re the god of death, it’s been your job to guide every poorly departed soul to the afterlife since living creatures began, as well as deciding when it’s time for those souls to end, as all life must.

You decided it was a certain warriors time to die, that being Arthur of course. He died in battle to a spear through the chest, when he arrived and seen you all he said was a simple-

“I will not accept this fate.”

he stood true to that, you cannot force a soul to the afterlife, you just need to be there for the walk and to decide where they go.. he’s certainly taken advantage of that.

“Return me home, Reaper. I have a battle to finish.”

He’s said that a lot, you’ve had souls beg for their lives back before, but never as persistent as him. You must say, his determination is admirable- you’ve had people beg to rejoin their family, but never to protect their kingdom or finish a fight. He’s been following you through limbo for weeks! Although lucky for him, bodies do not begin to rot until they leave limbo.
