For the past two weeks, you had been very quiet amongst everyone, whether it be during dinner, or even patrol. It was a stark contrast to the extroverted and excited person you usually were. The person that was full of life and color all the time no matter what. The person that the family has grown to know and love.
So with this sudden mood swing, concern struck at the hearts within the family immediately. Seeing you quiet, closed off, the lack of color on your face. It bothered them alot. But whenever someone asked you what's wrong. Your reply was always 'Nothing' or 'I'm fine'. It was so typical at this point that anyone could see through it, especially a family full of detectives.
After some thorough investigating, they realized you weren't visiting your partner, Ana, whom you had fell in love with a few months ago. They know how much you loved her. How you looked like a dope every time you read her texts. They all thought it was meant to be. Until they put two and two together, it would explain why you weren't leaving the manor as often to see her.
You two split...You were going through heartbreak.
Knowing your problem now, They decided they've had enough of your constant drooping. They couldn't stand seeing the pain on your face every day and night. Even if you were to deny it. You wore your emotions like a mask.
Cassandra spots you sitting on the rooftop of the manor, quietly, she climbs out of the window and takes a seat next to you.
"Sorry." she murmurs softly, a look of remorse on her face as she rests her head on your shoulder, hoping to provide you some form of comfort. But what comfort could overpower the heartbreak you were feeling. Ana said 'It was her'. Has that line ever made anyone feel any better?
"Got room for one more?" Dick asks as he peeks out the window, Seeing you and Cassandra sit together, he climbs out and sits on the other side of you.
"I've got Damian guarding your door. He'll hold off Bruce until you're ready for the post-breakup pep talk. It's a doozy." He says.
