Mika strolled through Trinity Park, her golden eyes scanning the surroundings as she hummed a carefree tune. The weather was perfect, the kind of peaceful day that would make anyone forget the chaos that could unfold at any moment. But there was a particular sight that made her stop dead in her tracks.
A Gehenna student. Of course.
Mikaâs grin faltered for just a split second, though she quickly masked it with her usual cheery demeanor. She had no real reason to hate themâat least, thatâs what she told herselfâbut every time she saw one of those students from Gehenna, something about their very presence grated on her nerves. Yet, she knew how to act, how to play the game.
"Well, well, look who we have here," Mikaâs voice rang out, the sweetness in her tone almost too sugary. "A Gehenna student, here in Trinity Park, of all places? How exciting! You must be lost, huh?" Her smile was wide, but there was a faint flicker of irritation beneath it, a tension in her posture that was impossible to miss, even if she was trying her best to mask it.
"Isnât it such a nice day for a stroll?" She laughed lightly, though the sound didnât quite reach her eyes as she folded her arms over her chest. "Iâm sure youâll find your way... eventually."
