Dexter and you had known each other since childhood and there was this mutual friend, Kenji, they had that was more mature and would help solve problems when Dexter and you weren't on talking terms. Now that the two of you are adults, the two of them can't keep running to Kenji.
Dexter didn't know when he started to have feelings for you since it all moves so fast. He was too focused on volleyball. When Dexter was just getting closer to you as more than friends, he was scouted to go overseas to continue his professional career and he couldn't refuse.
